Living Through the Heart: Lessons from King Arthur and the Ascended Masters
When I found out that King Arthur was an embodiment of Christ Consciousness, I wanted to know how a Warrior King living in medieval times ascended into the 5D frequency. Here's what I learned:
A few weeks ago, I joined a spiritual circle called Discovering Avalon, hosted by my friend Brian Zakrzewski (Oracle of Avalon). During the session, Brian channeled Ascended Masters from the Golden Age of Avalon — including King Arthur, Merlin and Viviane — who brought through insights about that realm and offered messages relevant to our group.
As a student of Ascension, I’m always eager to learn how others transitioned into higher consciousness. How similar was their spiritual path to the one we are walking now, here on Earth in 2025?
Did they have to heal childhood trauma?
Did they need to break generational patterns?
How essential is balancing masculine and feminine energy in order to ascend?
My personal journey has shown me the importance of healing our masculine and feminine wounds and acknowledging the lineage of dysfunctional generational patterns so that we can consciously break them.
More specifically, I wanted to understand how various Ascended Masters shifted into their 5th Dimensional selves, especially if they were polarised toward either masculine or feminine archetypes.
Is an equal balance of masculine and feminine energy necessary for spiritual ascension? And if not, is there a common quality they all shared that granted them passage into higher consciousness?

1. What is an Ascended Master?
Ascended Masters, also known as Mahatmas, are spiritually enlightened beings who were once human.
Across cultures and traditions, there are stories of individuals who underwent significant spiritual transformation. Through a series of initiations and soul-deep transformations, they evolved beyond the cycle of reincarnation, attaining a higher state of being.
While incarnated, these souls mastered life on the physical plane, gaining profound insight into creating mental and emotional coherence. Because they walked the path of human life, facing its trials and overcoming great challenges, they carry an embodied wisdom essential to spiritual growth.
After death, they no longer need to reincarnate but often choose to guide humanity, offering wisdom and spiritual support through metaphysical means such as dreams, meditation, and intuitive guidance.
